Simone: “There you are.”

The door to Murray’s room was opened, and just like when they had first met properly, Murray was on his side of the door and Simone on the other.

Murray: “You were looking for me?”

Simone: “To put it simply, yes. I came here to look for you. You are the closest one to my hall after all.”

Murray: “I guess that’s true. But what do you need this time?”

Simone: “I wanted to know what happened to the Winged. Haven’t heard of him since the last night we were on that roof.”

Murray: “You mean Maverick? He said he would be busy for about a month or so. He had to do something that he never really told me about.”

Simone: “Shame that he isn’t here, I would’ve loved for him to come too.”

Murray: “What do you mean?”

Simone gave him silence, making him more suspicious.

Murray: “What are you planning…?”

Simone: “Never mind that,”

Simone quickly changed the subject.

Simone: “I would like to extend an invitation to you, Murray.”

Simone: “To go on an excursion with you. Just the two of us to somewhere pleasant.”

Murray: “…”

Simone: “Will you go with me?”

Murray: “Are you asking me out?”

Murray asked in a playful tone, one that was given under his warm smile. And Simone found it amusing, that he had let out a small ch

Simone: “If you want to see it that way, maybe.”
