Seymour took a hearty laugh after he heard the encounters of Murray relayed to him by Simone.
Seymour: “So he still hates me.”
Simone: “He doesn’t hate you, it’s rather that you’re annoying to him.”
Seymour: “His laziness is no different. Seriously, if he can have his fun, so can I.”
Simone: “You do have a point there.”
Seymour: “Shouldn’t you be off to meet Maverick now?”
Simone: “Yes, you’re right. Thank you for the reminder.”
Simone turned, making it his destination to find Maverick next. But Seymour stopped him.
Seymour: “It’s actually the first time Murray talked to someone so comfortably.”
The mention of Murray had intrigued Simone more. It seemed natural, how he talked to Murray. But then again, he never really knew Murray that well to know.
Simone: “Your point is?”
Seymour: “Just a thought, nothing much. You two would get along very well.”
Simone: “I figured as well.”
Seymour: “And, do you even know your way to Maverick’s side?”
Simone: “Honestly, not really. But I only need to find the door that has his name on it, right?”
Seymour only gave Simone a laugh.
Seymour: “No, more than that.”
Simone: “And is it really so important for me to know what more there is to it?”
Seymour: “If you’d like to keep your fingers.”
Simone was skeptical of everything Seymour had said. He knew Seymour to be the joking type, and he did seem like he was joking a bit. But there’s always a chance that he isn’t.
